BAM and Thailand Post join forces to enhance BAM’s NPAs management

        BAM, Thailand’s largest AMC, and Thailand Post, a postal operator and comprehensive logistics provider with a nationwide network, join forces to support BAM’s NPAs management. Thailand Post is to provide BAM with a property inspection service across the country and a marketing service to promote BAM’s NPAs through its platforms and media which can help reach target customers.

        Mr. Bundit Anantamongkol, the CEO of Bangkok Commercial Asset Management PCL or BAM, stated: “BAM owns various types of properties in every region of Thailand, including land, detached houses, townhouses, commercial buildings, and condos. The properties consist of over 20,000 items worth around 60,000 million baht in total. BAM’s policy on NPAs management aims at renovating second-hand properties to make them ready to be sold at fair prices. With the network of 26 branch offices nationwide, BAM comprehensively manages NPAs, from property inspection and ownership banner installation to property registration and assessment, to decide if repair or renovation is needed. To access and inspect properties, long-distance travel may be required in some areas.”

        Mr. Anantamongkol added: “In order to enhance our NPAs management, especially in terms of inspection of properties across the country, and given that each NPA needs a quarterly inspection, BAM cooperates with Thailand Post. With experience and expertise in accessing every part of the country, Thailand Post will provide property inspection service – inspecting, monitoring, and assessing – to BAM countrywide. This will reduce operating steps, time, and cost. Through cooperation of the two companies, BAM will be able to strengthen and optimize our NPAs management and utilize Thailand Post’s marketing and PR services and promotional activities on both online and offline media.”

        Regarding this cooperation, Dr. Dhanant Subhadrabandhu, the CEO of Thailand Post Co., Ltd., stated: “Thailand Post is well-resourced to fully support BAM’s operations through our extensive network of over 10,000 branches nationwide with more than 20,000 expert officers who are knowledgeable and able to access every area in Thailand.
