BAM visits flood-affected customers and expedites help

     BAM visited flood-affected areas and expedited inspections of customers' current conditions in many provinces in Thailand to understand problems and assess their situations. The company is ready to help customers on a case-by-case basis, depending on the level of impact the flood has on each of them. We are prepared to visit the affected area and to donate essential items and drinking water to many communities to alleviate initial difficulties.

     Mr. Bundit Anantamongkol, Chief Executive Officer of Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Public Company Limited (BAM) disclosed, in regard to the assistance to be offered to flood-affected customers in many areas of Thailand, that orders have now been given to regional offices. From which, officers must urgently visit customers, both debt-restructuring customers and customers who purchased BAM's NPAs in installments, to know their problems and to understand their difficulty and the level of impact the flood has on them. Officers need to inform the headquarters of their findings on these customers' problems so that the situation could be assessed and immediate assistance could be provided. This means that if any customer encounters flood-related problems, BAM will consider assisting them with debt repayment, on a case-by-case basis in order to alleviate the difficulty.

     “BAM is concerned about customers and communities in flood-affected areas. Regarding this, the company has ordered regional offices to provide initial assistance. Other additional details can also be requested for further assistance in terms of repayment conditions to alleviate customers’ suffering. Moreover, BAM visited and helped communities in Non Thai District in Nakhon Ratchasima Province and Ban Kluay Subdistrict, Mueang District in Sukhothai Province that have been affected by the flood by donating survival bags containing necessities and drinking water,” Mr. Bundit addressed.
