BAM partners with Union Auction to organize big online auction on June 8, selecting houses, condominiums, and plots with starting auction prices with as high as 70% discount

     BAM is preparing to hold a big NPAs sale event by joining Union Auction Public Company Limited to select 250 outstanding properties worth more than 600 million baht in good locations nationwide and with reasonable prices. The selected items will be auctioned through Union Auction's online auction system on June 8, 2021, with starting auction prices that could be discounted up to 70% from the initial selling price. We will be open for registration on May 20, 2021. Moreover, regarding our special promotions, customers who complete the transfer of property rights within 30 days from the auction date will receive free transfer fees and gift vouchers up to 100,000 baht per 1 NPA item. 

     Mr. Somporn Moonsrikaew, President of Business Group of Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Public Company Limited or BAM, revealed that BAM continues to focus on proactive marketing strategies through online channels to provide safety and convenience to our customers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the partnership with Union Auction, a leading and long-standing auction company, BAM has selected over 250 unique properties worth around 600 million baht for online auction on a high-standard platform by Union Auction on June 8, 2021. BAM will be offering properties located in prime locations with affordable prices, including single houses, townhouses, condominium units, commercial buildings, plots of land, and properties for investment nationwide. These items are aimed at investors and those who look to have their own homes. The auction prices start at a special rate with a discount of more than 70% from the initial selling price. For instance, a residential condominium unit with an area of 24.19 square meters in the Chang Thong 3 Condominium, Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok Road, Thanyaburi District, Pathum Thani Province has the starting auction price reduced to only 63,000 baht from the initial selling price of 263,000 baht.

     Mr. Varanyoo Sila, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Union Auction Public Company Limited or AUCT, informed that the company is delighted to have been entrusted to conduct the auction of BAM's non-performing assets (NPAs) this time. With over 30 years of auction experience, the company stands ready in every aspect, and in 2021 the company has developed a new auction platform, AUCTBID, which is modern, convenient, safe, and accessible 24 hours. This adaptation to the New Normal era allows interested parties to access the auction system as easily and conveniently as possible.

     Interested parties may register for auction via the BAM website and Union Auction website from May 20, 2021, until the auction date and pay the purchase deposit on the auction date, which is June 8, 2021, from 9.00 - 12.00. The auction will start from 13.00 - 17.00 and comprises two rounds. The first round, from 13.00 to 15.00, would be the auction for outstanding properties with special prices and discounts up to 35%, and the second round, from 15.00 to 17.00, would be the auction for ‘as is’ properties with special prices and discounts up to 70% off. As part of special promotions, for ownership rights transfers within 30 days from the auction date, customers will receive the free transfer and relevant gift vouchers up to 100,000 baht per 1 property item.

     Attractive properties selected for this auction comprises of Popular Condo units in Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province, with areas ranging from 28.4 to 40.02 sq.m. and the auction prices starting from 360,000 to 664,000 baht from the initial selling prices of 500,000 - 811,000 baht; a unit in Lumpini Condo Mega-City Bangna, Bang Phli District, Samut Prakan Province, with an area of 22.76 sq.m. and a starting auction price of 1,017,000 baht from the initial selling price of 1,519,000 baht; and a unit in Metro Sky Ratchada, Bangkok, with an area of 29.71 sq.m. and a starting auction price of 1,973,000 baht from the initial selling price 2,893,000 baht.

     Other items include a detached house at Setthasiri Village - Ramintra, Bangkok, with an area 57.6 sq.wa. and a starting auction price of 4,900,000 baht from the initial selling price of 6,930,000 baht; a detached house at Maneerin Park Village, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province, with an area of 62.7. sq.wa. and a starting auction price of 3,400,000 baht from the initial selling price of 4,840,000 baht; a commercial building in Mueang Surat Thani District, Surat Thani Province, with an area 38.9 sq.wa. and a starting auction price of 4,990,000 baht from the initial selling price of 7,150,000 baht; a detached house at Hansa Village, Mueang Udon Thani District, Udon Thani Province, with an area of 71.3 sq.wa. and a starting auction price of 2,920,000 baht from the initial selling price of 4,014,000 baht; and a vacant plot in Ban Khai District, Rayong Province, with an area 13-2-68 rai and a starting auction price of 20,500,000 baht from the initial selling price of 30,074,000 baht.
