BAM put up for sale more than 400 properties worth 3,500 million baht at the 36th House and Condo Expo offering an attractive deal of free transfer fee for any purchase made by cash or loan from financial institutions given that the purchase price was no more than 2 million baht.
Mr. Somporn Moonsrikaew, Senior Executive Vice President of BAM, revealed that during March 9-12, 2017, the company had put up over 400 properties with the total value of more than 3,500 million bath for sale at the 36th House and Condo Expo held at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). Types of the properties included single house, townhouse, commercial building, condominium, vacant land, allocated land plot, office building, and factory.
The single houses were, for example; Perfect Place village, Rattanatibetr, Nonthaburi, near Central Westgate, 59.8 sq.wah, starting at 4.95 million baht; Mantana village, Pravet district, 63.6 sq.wah, starting at 6.05 million baht; and Perfect Place Garden village phase III, near Suvannabhumi airport, Ramkamhaeng, 71 sq.wah, starting at 6.05 million baht.
Townhouses included Villa Chareonkrung village, Soi Chareonkrung 109, 19.4 sq.wah, starting at 7.15 million baht; Townhouse Bangkapi, Ramkamhaeng 65, 26.9 sq.wah, starting at 3.63 million baht; and Montri Townhome village, Ladprao 87, 20.7 sq.wah, starting at 3.19 million baht.
There were also commercial buildings such as a building at Bangkapi, Ramkamhaeng, 39 sq.wah, starting at 8.8 million baht; a building at Bangkhen, Ladplakao, 25.1 sq.wah, starting at 5.52 million baht; and a building at Prakhanong, Ramkamhaeng 2, 14 sq.wah, starting at 2.75 million baht.
In addition, customers who wished to pay cash or obtain no more than 2 million baht worth of loan from financial institutions within the project period would be offered complimentary transfer fee. For those who were interested in buying residential properties would be provided with several deals from financial institutions. UOB offered zero-down loans with 100% maximum of loan amount and attractive interest rate. GSB and TMB offered loans with special interest rate of 4.50% and 4.25 respectively for 3 years. The latter one even gave away free asset inspection fee and fire insurance fee. Bank of China also provided with 3-year average interest rate of 3.90%.
However, BAM had also ran a project called Land of Visions during February-March, 2017 under the concept of “Owning a land plot with less than a million” putting up several land plots from the Land for Savings scheme on sale with price less than 2 million each. There were more than 300 units worth 500 million baht. For example;
The lagoon 3 project, Patumthani, starting at 8,000 baht/sq.wah;
Warocha 6, Samutprakarn, starting at 11,000 baht/sq.wah;
Sriviang Resort, Chianrai, starting at 1,890 baht/sq.wah;
Hua Hin Rim Tarn, Prachuab Khiri Khan, starting at 1,050 baht/sq.wah;
Chuladis, Singha Nakorn district, Songkla, starting at 3,000 baht/sq.wah;
Khao Yai Casa, starting at 14,300 baht/sq.wah; and
Mountain View Khao Yai, starting at 10,000 baht/sq.wah.
