Continue increasing the sales volume, BAM is arranging a grand auction worth Baht 3 billion with the first auction starting on March 29th at BAM’s head office. For this event, BAM has chosen the good quality NPA with good location such as apartments, commercial buildings, office buildings, vacant lands, and factories for the customers. As for the occasion of celebrating 15th Anniversary, BAM offers many special promotions and prizes.
Mr.Sak Srisanan, the Senior Executive Vice President of Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Co., Ltd., or BAM said that BAM is still focusing on selling the properties for sale this year and planning on having 3 auctions during March, June, and October to which the value of the assets are worth Baht3 billion.
The first auction is set on March 29th, 2013 with 18 items in the total amount of 987.30 million baht. The assets consist of 2 apartments valued 86.35 million baht, 1 commercial building valued 14 million baht, 1 office building valued 20 million baht, 1 factory valued 90 million baht, 3 lands with buildings in property valued 296.49 million baht, and 10 vacant lands valued 480.46 million baht. 5 rooms of President Park Parkville Tower Apartment starting at 12,269,400 baht per room, Benjasri Condominium Apartment starting at 25,000,000 baht, Commercial building at Nakhornphrathom starting at 14,000,000 baht, Office building at Rama 3 road starting at 20,000,000 baht, and Tumbonsomrongnue Factories at Samutprakarn with 5-3-7 Rai of space starting at 90,000,000 baht.
Land with buildings such as the land at Thepa, Songklah with the space of 54-1-76.6 Rai, price starts at 25,500,000 baht, the land at Nakhornrajasrima with the space of 56-3-99 Rai, price starts at 25,989,000 baht, the land at Hangdong, Chiangmai with the space of 132-3-56 Rai, price starts at 245,000,000 baht.

Mr.Sak also stated that in the occasion of celebrating BAM 15th Anniversary, BAM has offered special promotions to the customer who purchase and transfer the ownership within December 15th, 2013. They will be able to win the special prize such as 2 prizes for Suzuki Swift car, 6 prizes for package tour for two to Korea, 3 prizes for 20,000 baht PTT gas voucher, and 68 prizes for Tesco Lotus 5,000 baht Voucher, in total of 99 prizes. (Except the customer who purchase and pay by installment with BAM) However, the customer who won the prize will be responsible for 5% taxes of each item.
Mr.Sak also said that real estate business in both in and outside of Bangkok keeps growing and the number has exceeded from the past year due to the policy of the government that encourage the purchasing power of the consumers while the interest rate for housing loan in not very high. Moreover, the real estate business in the Northeast as well as the East is seen expanding due to the improvement of the economy and the investment in mass transportation of the country and the ASEAN.
The overall of the second home business this year is expected to recover because the negative factors from the flood crisis have been resolved. Condominium is estimated to be very popular due to the investors who bought them 4-5 years ago. Moreover, apartments in prime areas will be on sale again. Number of single houses and secondhand townhouses is expected to increase compare to previous year due to the high cost of labor and building materials these days.
