BAM opened the Condominium Expo 2013 by launching the campaign of “Lower cost of buying condominium than rental” to stimulate the real estate market

          Today (April 23, 2013), Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Co.,Ltd. or BAM has arranged “BAM Condominium Expo 2013” under the campaign of “Lower cost of buying condominium than rental”, with the price of condominium started from 35 baht per day, to recover and drive the real estate market. As its believe that the direction of condominium market tends to grow up, then there are more than 1,800 units of condominium prepared for sales by offering the promotion, special discount, and special privileges for customers within May 2013.

          Mr. Krit Sesavej, the President of Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Co.,Ltd. (BAM), said that the arrangement of BAM Condominium Expo 2013, based on the idea of buying is saver than rental, has been taken because BAM concerned about low income persons who want to own the accommodation with low price, ready-to-lived quality, and the location in comfortable zone. Thus, BAM presented many good quality condominiums for more than 1,800 units which are located in Bangkok and territory, varied in locations and prices, and to be sold in public price started from 100,000 baht each together with a lot of privileges.

          BAM’s President also revealed that the overview of condominium market in 2013 presented the trend of high growth. As considering from the end of the previous year until the beginning of this year, the condominium market has had high expansion. So BAM would refer to the special occasion of Labor Day in May to give the gifts to the workers who has low income, to allow them own their accommodation, which are the privileges for the buyer who bought the condominium in BAM Condominium Expo 2013. The special offer for buying under installment payment (for the assets with the price not exceeding than 300,000 baht) was 0% interest for 6 months. For buying under cash payment, the transferring fee would be waived and would receive the voucher valued at 5,000 baht. For the 15th anniversary, many special rewards from lucky draw would be included.

          BAM was confident that the strategy used in this festival could make reservation of save price condominium in BAM Condominium Expo 2013 meet the target. This project also supported the government policy to stimulate the real estate market, including creating the chance for labor to own the properties. BAM had selected many condominiums from the well-known projects in various locations and with price variety, started from 100,000 baht onwards, for customers’ selection.           Mr. Krit also said about the direction of real estate market in 2013 that the overview still showed the growth in accordance with the recovery of domestic economy. The major factor was the requirement of people in accommodation; both new house and second-hand house, especially condominium near the sky train route which was highly required. As the overview of second-hand house situation was recovered because people feel relieved from worrying about flooding. Another positive factor for consumers was low interest loan which could stimulate the market to have higher growth than the previous year. For second-hand condominiums in 2013, they would be very active because resale of the condominium in good locations which might cause continuous growth of the second-hand condominium market. In the same time, single houses and second-hand townhouses were also expected to have more growth than the previous year because higher price of new house according to higher cost of labor and construction materials.
