BAM Mobile Application meets customers’ requirement to buy assets on mobile

          BAM Mobile Application meets customers’ requirement to buy assets on mobile with more than 8,000 subscribers after launching.  The program was prompt for continuous development to support the customers who use smart phone and tablet PC in searching BAM’s non-performing assets (NPA) easier and quicker. 

          Mr.Sak Srisanan, Senior Executive Vice President of Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Co.,Ltd. (BAM), revealed that the company launched BAM Mobile Application since October 2012. The objective of introducing this application was to increase a communication channel among people and customers via mobile. It would be more convenient for the customers who used smart phone and tablet PC to search non-performing assets (NPA) and BAM’s information. This application is a program for searching BAM’s real estates in any locations nationwide. It can present various kinds of outstanding assets, for example; single houses, townhouses, commercial buildings, condominiums, land, etc. Moreover, it comes with calculation program to estimate the loan, installment amount of accommodation, including provides direction to the interesting assets precisely via GPS. Currently, it has received good feedback from users with more than 8,000 subscribers.

          Meanwhile, to response users’ requirement, BAM has increased efficiency of BAM Mobile Application for easier searching of NPA via smart phone and table PC, together with increasing of officers’ competency in offering the assets through tablet PC. This program can present the direction of each asset based on Location Based Augmented Reality application which can set for display in varied distance and present only the asset selected by the user. After completion of development, this program will be able to show VDO of each asset which data is contained in the application.

          Mr. Sak also said that BAM Mobile Application for smart phone was developed to be another channel for facilitating customers and people who were interested in useful information or non-performing assets (NPA) of BAM in various locations as it brought high convenience in viewing the details. Currently, BAM had 11,804 items of non-performing assets (NPA) with the value of 37,095 million baht. As of August 31, 2013, BAM could sell the assets at total amount of 5,301.17 million baht or equivalent to 123.63% of 8-month target which was set at 4,288 million baht.
