BAM’s SABAI CONDO to be launched starting at ฿1,000/month

BAM is going to launch “SABAI CONDO 2015: Your Condo, Your Price” for the interested buyers with financial limitations. It claims that a purchase starting only at Baht 1,000 per month is even lower-priced than a rental. The event, held from July 14 – August 14, 2015, offers special promotions with more than 500 units of condominiums from 40 projects.

           Senior Executive Vice President of BAM Mr. Somporn Moonsrikaew revealed that BAM is going to run an event called “SABAI CONDO 2015: Your Condo, Your Price” from July 14 – August 14, 2015. The event offers more than 500 units of fully-furnished condominiums from 40 projects located in Bangkok and vicinity. The sales prices of all condominiums are less than Baht 300,000. They include Nirun Residence, Bangna-Trad; Nampetch Condo Town, Ratanathibet; Hatai Rat Condominium, Sai-Mai; Intraview Condo Town, Prayasuren; Golden Rungsit; and Pla Tong Flat, Pathumthani.

           BAM also offers a special deal of only Baht 1,000 deposit and Baht 1,000 upfront cost before moving in. The installment is roughly Baht 1,000-3,000 per month depending on the condominium price and the period does not exceed 10 years—if due comes, the remaining balance has to be paid in full in the last payment. In case customers are willing to make a onetime payment with the condo price less than Baht 2 million, the transfer fee would be free of charge. BAM will start launching out the project by running a booth at Seacon Square Srinakarin department store during July 14-20, 2015. Customers who make a reservation at the event will receive a Hatari 14 inch portable fan as a complimentary gift.

           Mr. Somporn added that the SABAI CONDO 2015 project is aiming to help low-income people, who are unable to obtain loans, to own an accommodation. The target group consists of vehicle drivers and freelance workers who earn Baht 10,000-20,000 per month and has the net income at around Baht 3,000-4,000. Since they normally pay Baht 1,500-2,000 per month for their housing rental, they will find the condos offered at the event very affordable. For those who are office workers are welcome to join the event as well. However, the potential buyers must have clear and verifiable evidence regarding their current careers and income.            For the past 5 months, BAM has acquired Baht 6,910.38 million worth of NPL unpaid balance from several financial institutions. As a result, BAM currently has a total of 71,699 NPL accounts, equivalent to Baht 407,599 million; and 12,451 NPA items, equivalent to Baht 35,820 million.

           Besides, the second-hand home market seems to be growing. It is because recently the establishment of new housing projects has been slowing down due to the economic conditions. The second-hand homes are then the best choice for people interested in buying properties. In the meantime, the marketing plan for the second half of 2015 still focuses on accelerating sales of assets by participating in numerous asset expos such as the NPA Grand Sale Expo during August 20-23 and running booths over Bangkok and vicinity to sell assets based on the target segment.
